Due to Parkview being without air conditioning until later this weekend, the school district has made the decision to shorten the school day for both Parkview and CIS by two hours on Friday 6/21. This decision was made with the best interest of the students and staff in mind. The school day will start as usual at 7:45 and release time will be at 12:30. This will NOT affect student attendance money. The YMCA has already been contacted and is ready to receive those students at the earlier time. If you have other child care arrangements, please contact your providers to make plans accordingly.
Dismissal times for today, 6/20 will remain the same as usual.
Thank you,
Dr. Lannigan

Good Morning Parkview Summer School Parents:
Yesterday, while the fiber company was drilling around the building they discovered an unmarked power line that powers Parkview's AC. This likely has caused us to loose our AC until Monday. There is a plan in place to ensure the safety of all students and staff for both today and tomorrow with the projected temps. Today, we will remain at Parkview until after lunch today, then we will transport students over to the new PAC to watch the movie that was planned for Friday. We will then transport back over to Parkview to conduct dismissal as usual. Tomorrow (6/21), we will conduct arrival as usual at Parkview and remain here while the temps are lower. As the temps rise throughout the day, we will assess the building climate and will again transport over to the new PAC/CVMS gym for afternoon activities. We again will transport back over to Parkview and conduct dismissal as usual. Our hope is that power can be restored the the AC units sooner than expected.
Thank you for understanding and we will send out any pertinent updates as the arise.

DHSS Summer Food Services Program Online Map
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services' (DHSS') Summer Food Service Program provides breakfast, lunch, suppers, and/or snacks to children living in eligible areas during the summer months and during times of public emergencies, when children do not have access to free or reduced-price meals at school. An online interactive map is provided to help families in Missouri find out where their children can receive free meals this summer.
Community organizations serve the meals at schools, churches, parks, swimming pools, YMCA facilities, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other spots where children gather when school is not in session. The meals are provided to all children that attend the meal service location. Children do not have to register and there is no fee to participate in the program.
The map and more information about the Summer Food Service Program can be found at health.mo.gov/sfsp. For families without access to the internet, summer meal sites in the area can also be found by texting the phrase “Summer Meals” to 914-342-7744.
