We wanted to inform you that there was a minor fender bender involving one of our buses, Bus Number 10. Bus 10 was rear-ended shortly after dismissal. Local police were on site and attending to the situation and they have reported that everyone is safe and the bus has resumed its route. Mr. Pope's class helped put together new chairs for Parkview Elementary today. The students in his classroom have a set time in their schedule to learn vocational skills that will help them be more independent adults.
Special Olympic athletes competed in a skills camp and flag football competition at Mid-Buchanan yesterday. Athletes learned how to run faster, pass, catch, kick, and punt before competing against other schools in a friendly game.
