SPECIAL SERVICES

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS:
The Special Education Department of the Cameron R-I School District provides special education services to students with disabilities from ages three to twenty-one, as required under the Individuals with Disabilities Act.
Cameron R-I School District’s special education program identifies students that may have a disability which affects their progress in the general education curriculum. After identification, the student is evaluated to determine eligibility and, if the student qualifies for services through Special Education, an Individual Education Program is developed for the student. Services are generally provided in the student’s home school.
The Cameron R-I School District special education program provides all children with disabilities, residing in the school district, with a free, appropriate public education.
The Special Services District Office is located in the Central Office building, 423 N. Chestnut, Cameron, MO 64429.
