For the month of April and May 5-8th grade students will have artwork displayed at the offices of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Jefferson City. Their artwork was framed and is displayed in the main hallway of the department's offices where visitors can enjoy it and in the State Board of Educations room where the Board meets monthly. Congratulations to Claire Hovey!! Her proposed agenda design was voted by the CVMS students and staff as the winner for next year's agenda cover! Way to go, Claire!
CVMS Spring Fling is Friday, April 22nd! The theme is “Flower Power.” Students can dress as a flower-child, Hawaiian, or wear any other flower-ware to school. The Spring Fling after school from 3:30-5:30. The school dress code will be followed. Students don’t have to wear flowers to attend. Admission is $5. Concessions will be available for purchase. To attend, students should be present at school. Only currently enrolled CVMS students may attend.
