Our students had a BLAST at the rocket launch today! At the dance party, we received over 200 donations for the Cameron Food Pantry! It was awesome to see our students have fun and give back to the community!
CVMS (4th-8th Grade) Summer School Parents: Today, June 21st, the CVMS Summer School Rocket Launch will take place at the Cameron Memorial Airport starting at 8am. We recommend students bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a towel to sit on. Following the rocket launch, students will take part in the Summer School Dance Party. Students must bring at least one canned or dry good item to participate in the dance. All proceeds will be donated to the Cameron Food Pantry.

Tomorrow, June 14th is Laser Tag Day for CVMS Summer School (4th-8th grade students). Please send students to school with tennis shoes and athletic clothing.
Students in Ms. Kemper's class did a cookie lab yesterday! Students had to practice making predictions and observations on whether cookies would sink or float.
Ms. McIntosh's science class learned about waves today! What an awesome activity!
Attention MS Parents:
Today is the first day of summer weights for incoming 7th and 8th Grade athletes. Students planning to attend should arrive to the CHS Activities entrance by 9:50am, and weights will run from 10am to 11:15. Athletes should be wearing athletic shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Weights will occur Monday - Friday until the end of June.

Today, Ms. Notch's students each created their own quilt! What a great way to practice drawing shapes and calculating perimeter and area!
In Ms. Janovec's class, students created chalk sketches of the setting of their short story. The story takes place on Venus and is in constant rain.
