Good Afternoon, Cameron Families.

It is that time of year again, time to begin thinking about Summer School for your student(s)!  This year's theme will be based around the World Cup, as portions of it will be hosted in Kansas City.  Summer School for grades K-8 will take place from May 28th - June 24th (7:45 - 2:30).  High School Summer School will run May 21st - June 4th (8:00 - 2:00).

To register your child for Cameron Summer School, you will first complete a Google Form to express your interest in your child attending and share your transportation needs.  We will use that information to set up online registration for your child.  Your second step is to fill out the TeacherEase registration, once it is available. This second step will look the same as the beginning-of-the-year registration for the regular school year and makes the parent portion of registering students much easier and less time consuming. If you have a student currently enrolled at Cameron Schools, all you have to do is verify your demographic information and the process is complete.  If you have a student who is new to the district, it will take more time, but then the registration process in August will be much easier/quicker.

The registration process will go as follows:

STEP 1:  Starting today, access the Google Sign-up Form (on flyers and linked below) that correlates to the grade level that your child will be entering during the 2026-27 school year.  The sign-up forms are also located on each of the Cameron Schools' webpages.

STEP 2:  On April 15th, a TeacherEase message will be sent to families who have signed their student(s) up for the 2026 Summer School session in order for them to complete the Summer School registration process.

**Any students who are signed up for Summer School between April 15th - May 8th will receive registration information as their sign-up status is approved.

Due to limited staffing, there will be a cap on the number of students who can enroll per grade level.  Once a single grade level reaches 70 students enrolled, any students signed up after that point will be placed on a waitlist and will only be contacted if a spot becomes available.  The Google Sign-up forms will remain open until May 8th. After that date, you will have to contact Ashley Cruickshank at 816-882-1075 in order for the form to be opened for you.
