The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released school district’s APR on 12/18 and can be found on the DESE website linked here. You will need to choose Cameron R-I School District from the drop-down menu.
Below is a highlight of the Cameron R-I School District data comparing the 2023 APR results to the 2024 APR results. The data points listed are not inclusive of the entire report, but offer opportunities and goal setting.

- Performance totals increased or maintained the percent of points earned and designation categories in 14 out of 17 performance areas
- Categories that didn’t increase:
- Student Group-Academic Achievement Status in Math (50% of points earned=”Approaching” category)
- All Students-Academic Achievement Status in Science (75% of points earned=”On Track” category)
- All Students-Academic Achievement Status in Social Studies (75% of points earned=”On Track” category)

- Earned more “Approaching” category than in the Achievement Status section
- The Growth measures can be an area of opportunity to earn more percentage points

- Earned 100% of all points possible in every Continuous Improvement Total except Attendance
- Attendance score was 75% of points earned which is an improvement from previous years
- 2 out of our 4 schools met the 90/90 state requirement and received all 100% point possible for attendance
