Winter Sports Guidelines

Cameron R-I School and Community Members,

We want to start by thanking everyone for their support during these difficult times.  We are excited to move forward with our winter activities seasons.   It is our goal to keep our students, staff and community safe while also enjoying the activities we love.

As of 11/11/2020 the Cameron R-I District has amended its plan for spectators attending winter activities.. In conjunction with the Clinton County Health Department recommendations we are going to limit the capacity in our gyms to 25%.  In order to keep the number of fans down in our gyms this winter Cameron will be issuing tickets for spectators to attend events.  Every Middle  School athlete will receive 2 tickets for each home contest  and every High School athlete will receive 3 tickets for each home contest. The tickets will only work for that specific night’s event.  With the rate of Covid-19 increasing in our community we hope this will help slow the spread and allow our students who participate in activities to continue to do so.
