Parents As Teachers

Parents as Teachers supports parents during the critical early years of their children’s lives, from conception to kindergarten. Unfortunately, there is no “EASY” button for parenting. However, the Parents as Teachers program pledges it can and does help. PAT is a free home-visitation program which also includes group connections, screening services and a resource network.  Any family who is either expecting a child or raising a child who is less than 3 years old is able to participate.  Limited services are also available for families with children ages 3-5, who are not yet eligible for kindergarten.

You’re there for them,  we’re here for you. Cameron R-1 School District PAT Staff are specially trained and certified to bring current, useful developmental information and support to your family.    Enrollment is (816) 882-1034.
