THURSDAY: Early dismissal and Conferences-----Dismissal is at 12:30 pm. For conferences, CVMS doors open at 1 pm. Because conferences take about 30 minutes, we suggest arriving no later than 7:30 pm, as the building will close at 8 pm. Click here for the all new DTV Conference Video. Student-Led Conferences are different than Parent-Teacher Conferences. If you are interested in the traditional conference, please contact any grade level teacher and they will set up an appointment on a different day.

October 24 is the 20th Annual “Lights on Afterschool” day. Help us honor the greatness of the Cameron R-1 School District by remembering that our facilities are used for more than the educational setting. Here are just some of the activities that take place over the weekends and after school at CVMS:

  • Sports practices and games, Boy Scouts, YMCA groups, Academic Team, CVMS Musical, CHS Flag Core, 4H Club, Marchfest, band performances, conferences, community meetings, book fairs and so much more!!

NO SCHOOL on October 25 and October 28.

Science MAP scores will be sent home with 6th grade students at Student-Led Conferences on October 24. Scores not picked up on that day will be sent home with students on October 29.
